The offered pairing includes a program and ticket stub issued for the 1954 All-Star Game, Cleveland's Municipal Stadium, a memorable Mid-Summer Classic in which the “hosts” prevailed, 11-9 on the strength of four round-trippers – three of which were launched by local heroes Rosen (2) and Doby. Includes: Signed Program an (EX-MT) 32-page guide with scoring grids marked in pencil by one of the 68,751 on hand that day (the third-largest crowd in All-Star Game history, surpassed only by the figures from the 1935 and 1981 installments at the same cavernous venue). On the colorful front cover, the signatures of Bauer, Finigan, Ford, Mays, Mantle and Noren have been executed in pencil and maintain an average of (“6”) quality (though Finigan's signature rates “3”). The Mays and Mantle scriptings show early penmanship; Ticket Stub a white-and-silver colored voucher measuring approximately 5 x 2-1/4 with printed seating and event legends and a “Chief Wahoo” Indians logo. Affected minimally by small creases, the (EX) item has an uneven tear (rendered upon admission) on the far left edge. Accompanying is a full photo LOA from James Spence Authentications.
